Well it has been a while since we posted anything on our blog and I thought it would be a good idea to update everyone on what has been happening here at The Digital Signage Group. We have been extremely busy working on some exciting projects with our partners. We are really focusing on our solutions instead of individual products. You  should expect to see some changes to our website in the near future.  Sharon has been focusing on our webinar series and we have aggressively been filling our calander with some fantastic information that we look forward to sharing with everyone. Check out our webinar schedule we are adding more topics all the time!

Jill is gearing up for her speaking engagement at the International Sign Association trade show in scenic Las Vegas April 15-17 at Mandalay Bay. Jill will be presenting Doing Business in Digital Signage at 8:00 am April 16th at Mandalay Bay.

Jennifer and Christine continue to be over worked but seem to thrive in that environment. They are both concentrating on working with our partners to provide the complete digital signage solution to our customers.

As for me, I am focusing on our website and making it as useful and informative as possible. the website and about 400 other things that we need to concentraate on….some things never change.

I hate the term “new years resolution” so I am going to think of it as “potential accomplishments”  when speaking and writing about the New Year and the goals we may all want to accomplish for our businesses in 2009.

Is there any Digital Signage News Year accomplishments you hope to achieve this year?  This could mean getting quotes to your customers quicker, taking a webinar for a deeper understanding of a product or service that will help you eduacte your customer for a faster turn around.

Or…it could even be just finding appropriate bundled solutions  that are hosted, no hosted, celluar or even  sometimes one on one turn key solutions that will help you win projects.

I know that half of the projects out there require personalized configurations. However,  if you can get the easy solutions mentioned above down like clockwork, you will be able to spend more time working the ones you need to find creative solutions for.

I know these ones tend to get put on the side or back burner when you are busy doing the projects that are the ones that can be installed and up and running quickly. Yes, we all love those!

However, the ones that might bring you more revenue in 2009 are the ones that help you not only provide hardware for your client but also allow you to use your valuable consultation services ( when they don’t know what they need, they just know what they want the end result to be ) you know this scenerio right??

This is where you become worth your weight in gold for many reasons:

AND it is YOUR  chance to shine, this is planting your seeds for repeat business ( no questions asked, no price shopping and no more time wasted) when you provide “the consultation and confidence services” (more on this series later)  to your customers that help you gain trust as the expert.

I am seeing that the more confident business owners are about the solutions that they are offering   (AND  the faster  the quote gets done)  and submitted -it helps the client make a better informed decision –and the faster the turn around time is for a “YES” (and a signed contract for the project).

The more quotes we can get out there, the more we will close for 2009.

It is that simple. ( but you knew this :) )

For 2009 the Digital Signage Group has made our resolution ”potential accomplishment” goal to help you close more business by offfering education and consulation services to not only help you close more business faster but help you “shine” in front of your clients. We all want THAT right?

They (your client) won’t even know we are there, but you will!

If you are not a partner of ours yet, sign up today. We would love to hear from you and please DO let us know what Digital Signage New Year accomplishments  that you hope to achieve this year AND more importantly LET US KNOW  how we can help you.

~From all of us at The Digital Signage Team~Hope, Happiness and Digital Signage Prosperity in 2009!

Deck The Halls With Video Walls!

I was thinking today how hard it is to find good  information on the net about how to put together video walls.  If you want to make a huge impact for sales messages  or impress the masses in a tradeshow enviroment, a video wall is something that should be considered.  If you really understand  built-in image-enlarge processing and how it simplifies video walls  2 x 2(4), 3 x 3(9), 4 x 3 (12), 4 x 4(16) that is SO great!

If not, we are here to help.

If you would like to get some excellent pricing and more details about how we can help with your project check out this page, or give us a Call Toll Free at 866.591.1974  Or International at 360.779.6470

We would love to hear from you.

Every Business Needs A David Miller- New Business Development Manager For The Digital Signage Group

Do you know THAT ONE  person at a company that customers rave over and cube neighbors worship?

At the Digital Signage Group that person is David Miller. He is The GREAT NEW Vice President of Business Development AND ya know, you might think his title is glamorous.

 BUT in reality….

David is the one we all love to delegate to because he takes on each project (sometimes grueling painful projects)  with zest and I have never known him to say “NO” to anyone asking him for help or assistance.

David also travels ALOT!  He is the one who visits current clients and potential customers deployment sites and already installed sites. He travels by plane, ferry and Chevy truck to near and far away places.

I think it ALL works for him because he is a total foodie and will often come back with great food stories ( which I happen to love) knowing what weird or exotic food he passed/ate along the way. I think the last story had to do with a drive thru and Krystal Burgers.. YA, just HOW GREASY WERE they???

I will save that for another food day…

What David Miller is really great at is- troubleshooting.  He often can get a technical or interpersonal issue solved very quickly and with what seems like with little effort. I couldn’t do what he does and most people couldn’t do it with his tact and positive attitude.  He also manages significant purchases and helps to develop long term strategy product planning.

He is also a leader and active participant in the development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, reporting and optimization of all processes relating to the daily operations at the TDSG. He also makes great reccomendations to our partners and gets them to the correct project manager based on their personality and project needs.

It is a true art.

If you need to let us know about a unique product we should look at or have a distinct digital signage project on a subarmine ( or anywhere else) for that matter. Shoot David an email at davidm@tdsg.net or give him a call at phone # 360 779 6470  ext. 293.

And if you happen to be one of our  current dealers..psst  David can be bribed with biscuits and gravy. Just an FYI. :)

Which reminds me…Minicom, if you are listening ???  Your next Digital Signage interview should be with David Miller. My 02 cents.

Time to regenerate the blog. We have been so busy rebuliding the website that we are actually adding new products live and on the fly!  We just have a feeling this will be the year to really help ramp up  our partners businesses (as 2009 ) should be an even better Digital Signage year than this year has been.

If you need help with a project ( even if it is a couple months out) give us a call. We would love to hear about it !

Also,  check out our new website www.tdsg.net and let us know what products you would like to see on our website. Like I said, we are updating LIVE like MEMOREX  ( we are such brave souls) but were wondering what we could add that your customers might be asking for? Is there anything that comes to mind? We love the unusual and will take on the challenging projects.

We just want to say that we  know you could call a million other places but we have been supplying digital signage to our partners for years (and we know what our partners and dealers expect from us.) We offer crazy amounts of support, PDF documents, Planning Diagrams and timely tracking.

Our goal is to make you look good for YOUR customers ( the winds beneath the wings kinda thing)  and make your screens look stunning (and of course) celebrate by hanging out with you at the next tradeshow!

We love to celebrate our dealers accomplishments and appreciate the opportunity to earn the business of our trusted friends and value added dealers.

 Enjoy!

Introducing two great solutions that are very easy to use, and packed with huge value at a great price.
